CAME Gard GT4 barriers for a communal car park in Cheriton
Working on behalf of property managers Smith Woolley, we fitted CAME Gard GT4 barriers to control access to a communal car park in Cheriton, Folkestone. The booms and cabinet crowns light up and double as traffic lights, and residents open the barriers with cloud-managed remote fobs.

What we installed
- CAME Gard GT4 barriers controlling the entrance to the residents’ car park.
- Illuminated booms and cabinet crowns that act as traffic lights: red while the barrier is down, flashing red while it’s moving, and green when it’s clear to drive through.
- Cloud-managed remote fobs, so fobs can be added and removed without a site visit: ideal for a car park with many users.
Drivers get a clear signal day or night, and residents get a tidy, secure entrance.
Managing a residential site?
For property managers, cloud-managed fobs mean a lost fob or a resident moving out is dealt with from the office, not with a visit. We also install CCTV, door entry and access control for blocks of flats and communal areas.
