One fob does it all

One Orisec fob arms the alarm, opens the gate and operates both garage doors. We linked the systems with Shelly relays from NetXL, so everything works together.

What we installed

Aligates custom gates, waterjet-cut with the house name and a certain Nova emblem, finished in a custom RAL colour.
CAME sliding gate automation, with a mix of BEA safety lasers, safety edges and photocells.
An electric-release pedestrian gate with an Akuvox keypad.
Akuvox access control and intercoms, with an S563 indoor monitor in white that also shows the CCTV.
An Orisec Grade 2 intruder alarm, with a keypad, fobs and a Nova bell box.

Can one fob open the gates and the garage and set the alarm?

Yes. Here one Orisec fob arms the alarm, opens the gate and operates both garage doors, using Shelly relays from NetXL to link the systems.

Can I see my cameras on the intercom screen?

Yes, with the right monitor. The Akuvox S563 indoor monitor here answers callers and also shows the CCTV cameras.

Can gates have our house name cut into them?

Yes. These Aligates gates were waterjet-cut with the house name and finished in a custom RAL colour. Electric and automatic gates.

Do automatic gates need safety devices?

Yes. Powered gates are machinery, so the safety devices they need, such as photocells, safety edges and safety lasers, come from a risk assessment, and the safety standard is BS EN 12453.
